Every day, we are being watched by dozens of CCTV cameras. The esthablishment has a perfect knowledge of our state of health as well as bank houses about our financial position. Without being aware, we give out private information which we often keep in secret even in front of our closest friends. The project ID shows another face of contemporary society. Anytime we fly somewhere or we enter a quarded building, our private items are controlled by an electronic eye. In a minutes it knows whether the person is wearing glasses, the content of his wallet and of other personal belongings in his suitcase.
In July and August 2005 I had an opportunity to see how the x-rays work in one of the Czech courts. By most of the people who were passing by, I pictured content of their personal belongins, their face with their date of birth and their ID number but which they appear in the official statistics. So, what is a man No. 102888470 having in his suitcase?
